A awesome store! They literally have just about anything you could need. Everything from hardware stuff to groceries. The campground itself is very well kept and the beach view is nice. Most people get angry about the boat launch but fail to understand that isnt the stores launch its the county's.

Most of the lots in the 20's put your campsite right on a massive beach. Kids played on the beach all day. Lake is excellent for water sports. Was a great trip!

At first reading the reviews for this campsite I was not sure if I wanted to go, but I'm glad I did. The camp ground consist mostly of seasonal camp stalls. It seems like the owner is very loyal to the seasonal campers and thus does not tolerate anything outside the camp ground rules for short term visitors. Staff does come across rude but if you cause no trouble, there will be nothing to be worried about. Now, the camp ground, what an amazing location, full hookups right on the beach and spacious stalls. The beach is as big as a football field and the water is shallow making it warm and perfect for kids to play in. I will be going back again this year.

There are fish in the lake that are edible. The water is safe to swim in. The showers cost money though and the tap water isn't potable. All in all, its worthy of its name!

They are ready for campers and visitors. Staff are ready to help and like old time general stores have everything from a to z. although I couldn't find a sink, they had everything you needed to fix one, even had network cables!
